N6bn bribery allegation: CAC Pastors pray for all leaders- Abiara

Prophet S. K. Abiara

Following the comment made last week by the Director General of the APC campaign organisation, Governor Rotimi Amaechi that PDP paid some Pastors N6 billion to campaign for the party, Christ Apostolic Church General Evangelist Prophet S. K. Abiara believed that the governor was misquoted.

Prophet  Abiara who made this speech during CAC World Wide annual Programme tagged  ‘All Nations Holy Pilgrimage to Odo Owa,’ at Kwara State described Governor Amaechi as a good, intelligent, honorable and well educated man, adding that he is a man of integrity who is loved by many people.

“I don't think Governor Rotimi Amaechi will make any derogatory statement about the ministers of God . I want to believe that the Governor was misquoted by the press, because this not the first time a Muslim is contesting for the presidency in Nigeria. Moreover, we've  had Muslims as presidents before, so why the bribery allegation now. However, if the allegation is true, I encourage him to clarify issues and be more specific. The names of such people should be mentioned and published in the newspapers.  Nigerians would like to know so as to avoid speculations,” Abiara stated.

Abiara noted that Ministers of God, sacrifice a lot to pray for peace and stability of Nigeria, stating that Christians are praying fervently for free and fair elections.

“God commands us to pray for the peace of Nigeria. No more. No less. For instance, the authority of  Christ Apostolic Church worldwide, under the leadership of Pastor A.O. Akinosun is concluding a - 3 day prayer at Apostle Ayo Babalola prayer mountain, odo owa in Kwara State for the nation, all political leaders and the success of the coming general elections.’’

He concluded that; “we can boldly say that nobody motivated us to pray, we follow the biblical injunction and the move of the Spirit of the living God. The authority of CAC is never biased about whoever God allows to occupy any position of authority.”
