Didier Drogba is being tipped to soon announce his retirement with Chelsea.
The Daily Express says despite making 22 appearances in all competitions, Drogba has found himself playing second-fiddle to big-money signing Diego Costa, whilst also finding himself in a battle with Loic Remy to be the second-choice striker.
Also threatening Drogba's position at Stamford Bridge is the imminent arrival of Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric, although the Croatia international will be loaned to feeder club Vitesse Arnhem for the remainder of the season.
However, Jose Mourinho intends to put Kramaric in the first-team from the start of next season, and according to reports, Drogba will now announce his retirement in the coming weeks with the intention of taking up a coaching role with the club.
