The Colombian winger was the subject of a failed £20.6million bid from the Blues earlier on Wednesday with La Viola looking to get the £26.8m release clause that is included in his contract.
However, reports suggest that Cuadrado’s agent Alessandro Lucci is on his way to London to work on behalf of his client and the Italian club to get a deal done.
Cuadrado, who starred for Colombia at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, has been with Fiorentina since joining from Udinese in 2012 and has scored 21 goals in 82 appearances in all competitions for the Florence outfit.
