Fresher emerges CACYOF LASPOTECH coordinator



When people gathered recently at the induction/handing over service of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF), Lagos State Polytechnic Chapter, no one knew that John Taiwo, an ND1 student could emerge as the fellowship coordinator.


It took everybody by surprised at the service which was held at CAC Amazing Grace Zonal Headquarters, LASPOTECH first gate Ikorodu when Taiwo’s name was announced as the new ‘coordinator’ of the fellowship for the next one year.

Apart from Taiwo, 20 other executives were announced.


They are David Ayeghonmi, assistant fellowship coordinator; Racheal Omowuyi, Sisters’ Coordinator; Ezekiel Samuel, Brothers’ coordinator; Joshua Ogunkola, General Secretary and Dayo Shodimu Prayer Secretary.    


Others are Ezekiel Falade, Adeniyi Jide, Ayodele Damilola, Adetunji Abayomi, Babatubde David, Kolajo Deborah, Gbadegeshin Iyanuoluwa and Akintoye Serah.



The list also included Fajemigbesi Elizabeth, Job Jude, Funke Ogunkoya, Fagbamigbe Deborah, Toyiemedo Christopher,Adeogun Ebunoluwa and Egeonu Jude.

While giving the word of exhortation to the new executives, minister in-charge of the fellowship, Pastor S.A. Ariyo said that man can use his power to do natural work but the grace of God is needed for spiritual commitment.


In his word: “It takes the grace of God to fulfill supernatural assignment particularly an assignment of this magnitude that demand a lot.”

He implored the new executives to seek God first before taking any decision, adding that unity within them is very important for the fulfillment of God’s promises for their tenure.

In an exclusive interview with TotalNews247 the new fellowship coordinator, Brother John Taiwo said he was shocked when his name was mentioned. He disclosed that he never expected such a post.

Dignitaries at the service are the Chairman of CAC Amazing Grace Zonal Headquarters, Pastor Adetoyese, Pastor Owolagbon and Pastor David.

The Alumni were represented by Mr. Samuel Oke, Mr. Ebenezer Ajibola, Mr. Oluwafemi Dosu, Mr Olaniyan Ezekiel and Miss. Balogun Motunrayo among others.


Since the inception of CACYOF LASPOTECH in 2005, nine set of executive have been inducted in the fellowship. The fellowship which is also known as The Royal Ambassador was registered as a student association in LASPOTECH on the 9th of June 2005 to operate on campus. Earlier before the registration,
the National and State body of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship (CACYOF) were notified on the 27th of May, 2005 about the existence of LASPOTECH arm of the fellowship.
