Fuji act, Malaika set to drop new album

Sulaimon Alao Adekunle Malaika, known to his fans and friends around the world variously as Alayeluwa, Madiba, Jagaban Fuji, Ike Anobi and KS1 D Pride, is ready to drop a new album. 

The award-winning Fuji star will hold an album listening concert in Lagos on September 25. 

NET gathered that the event will take place at The Haven Event Centre beside Archbishop Vining Memorial Cathedral Church in Ikeja, Lagos. Malaika, who hails from Ago Owu in Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun State, was born in Lagos and grew up in hoods like Mushin, Oshodi, Agege and Lagos Island. 

Regarding education, he attended Oyewole Primary School and Yewa High School, both in Agege area of Lagos. 

He formed his band, then known as the Tekoye Fuji Organization in 1985 but later changed the name in 1997 to Malaika Fuji Organization.
