The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria
(CIPM) has announced plans to hold its 18th annual public lecture
with the theme: ‘Restoration of Family Values as Pre-requisite to National
Development’. The lecture which is scheduled to hold on Thursday, November 27,
2014 at the Agip Recital Hall, Muson Centre at 10.00am will have as its guest speaker,
Mrs. Oluseyi Williams, Head of Service, Lagos State.
According to the institute, discussants at the lecture will
include Alhaji Ahmad Olanrewaju, Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Lagos and
Mrs. Mavi Isibor, Group Chief Executive Officer, Poise Nigeria Group. The
President/Chairman of Council of the CIPM, Mr. Victor Famuyibo is the Chief
host.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria is
the professional body of all Human Resource Management practitioners in Nigeria
charged with the responsibility of regulating the practice of Human Resource
Management and promoting of excellence in the acquisition of knowledge and
skills by practitioners. The annual
public lecture, is a major assemblage of Human Resource practitioners from the
private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy and abroad.
The lecture provides a platform for intellectual discourse on
a theme of contemporary global and national importance and the nurturing of
creative and strategic responses that would optimize the competence of the
practice of human resource management.
