Kwara speaker, emerges APC House of Reps candidate



The Speaker of the kwara state House of Assembly Barr Razak Atunwa has emerged as the House of Representatives Candidate of the All Progressive Congress for Ilorin West/Asa Constituency for the next Year’s general Elections.

Barr Atunwa who was a sole Candidate polled 1545 votes to emerge as the flagbearer of the Party in the Primary supervised by the iNEC officials and 5 Man team of the APC from the National Headqarters led by Chief. H M 0sha.

Speaking after the election chief Osha expressed delight over the peaceful Conduct of the Primary and urged other states Chapter of the Party to emulate kwara State model in electing their Candidates.

He praised Senator Bukola Saraki for his leadership quality and called on the People of the State to vote massively for the Party in the 2015 general elections.

In his remark Senator Bukola Saraki praised all the Stake holders and other Aspirants for the Post for accepting the Candidature. And voted massively for Barr Atunwa in the Primary.

Senator Saraki urged the People of the State to Vote for all the Candidates of the APC in the forthcoming General Elections.

In his acceptance Speech Barr Atunwa who commended the Virtues of the late Waziri of Ilorin Dr olusola Saraki noted that Peoples’ Choice had always emerged in all elections held in the State in over 4 decades of the late Waziri’s sojourn in Politics.

Barr Atunwa applauded Senator Bukola Saraki, Governor abdul fatah Ahmed Leaders and other members of.the APC in the State for their Support and promised to continue to devote his life towards serving humanity.

The Speaker who said Kwara State was not in any form of bondage under the Political leadership of Senator Saraki urged the People of the State to Vote massively for the APC in the 2015 general elections to ensure continuity of good governance in the State.
