Dayo Adeneye declares political ambition

 The 2015 general election is surely one to look forward to as the number of entertainment personalities getting involved is growing daily. 

Already it’s looking interesting and entertaining already with the massive influx of top Nigerian entertainers going into politics. The latest entertainment personality to join politics and declare his ambition is iconic music executive and Radio/TV personality, Dayo Adeneye. 

Making the announcement recently via social media, the Ijebu-born prince popularly known as D1, shared the picture above on Instagram with the caption: ‘My dear friends. Having succumbed to the wishes and requests of my people in Ogun state I have decided to contest in the 2015 elections.

 Kindly keep me in your prayers as I embark on this next phase of my life.’ By making the decision, Dayo Adeneye has followed in the footsteps of fellow Kennis Music executive, Kenny Saint Best who is also seeking an elective office. 

While KSB is seeking a seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly Ikeja Constituency 1, D1 is heading to the Ogun State House of Assembly located at the Oke Mosan Government House..
