2014 Ojude Oba Festival: Goldberg to set up beer village

As part of its brand’s plans to make this year’s edition of the Ojude Oba Festival a memorable one, a lager brand from the stable of the Nigerian Breweries Plc, Goldberg, has announced its intention to set up a beer village at the festival

Brand Manager, Goldberg, Mr. Mfon Bassey disclosed that besides providing that platform for the brand to further bond with its teeming consumers from that part of the country, guests to the village would also have the opportunity of buying the brand at controlled prices and win valuable prizes.

He added that the beer village which would become fully operational this week would remain open till days after the event.

Commending the various sponsors, the Coordinator of the Ojude Oba Festival Committee, Barrister Fassy Yusuf, stated that the cultural festival had been re-packaged to attract the attention of both individuals and corporate bodies both within and outside the shores of the country.

Barrister Yusuf noted that though the Goldberg brand is partnering with the festival for the first time, it is bringing innovation to it by creating a beer village that would serve as a centre for relaxation for guests at the festival.

The grand finale of the 2014 edition will hold on Monday, October 6, 2014, that is, two days after the Eid-El Kabir festival.
