Cussons Baby injects new variant into Nigerian Market, unveils promo winners
In keeping to its promises of inspiring babies, Cussons Baby, a leading PZ Cusson brand, has introduced a new variant to its Baby Care Range.
The new variant, known as the Cussons Baby Cares and Protects (Yellow) variant; was borne out of intense consumer studies and resultant needs states with emphasis on heat and rash management. It contains zinc oxide, calamine and tea tree oil; all unique ingredients known for their soothing, healing and hygienic properties. The new variant was developed to assuage key concern area of protection and care for mothers and care givers.
The product which was unveiled today at the Protea Hotel Ikeja, Lagos, according to the Cussons Baby Marketing Manager, Mrs. Mildred Bagshaw is specifically designed to cater to the African Skin and its tropical climate through the use of unique ingredients in its formulations to ensure the right balance of actives and skin fell.
Bagshas noted that Cussons Baby has come out with variant product that will suit all kind of skin. She said that the Cussons Baby Variant and Protects (Yellow) variants comes with the distinct benefit of protecting baby’s skin germs that cause skin irritation ensuring baby’s skin stays and remain healthy at all times.
“The objective of this new product is to ensure availability of a complete baby care range that provides skin care solution for different baby skin needs,” she said.
Meanwhile, winners of the maiden edition of ‘Cusssons Baby Moment Competition’ were unveiled. The competition kicked off last year December on facebook with uploads by parents and guardians of intriguing and amazing moment of their babies in still picture and short videos. It was keenly contested with over 200 babies.
Baby Daniel Uwadia emerged as the winner and won the grand prize of all expensive paid trips for a family of four to a holiday destination. Baby Moyosore Otun-Fikayo and Baby Oluwatise Akinleye are the first and second runner-up.
The second edition of the competition will effectively commence from the last week of October through December 2014. Babies from six months to three years old are eligible for the competition.
