presidential aspirants in the forthcoming elections, General Muhammadu
Buhari has called on Nigerians to vote out Peoples Democratic Party on
the grounds of non-performance, noting that, Nigerians will have to cope
with more hardship if PDP is not voted out.
According to him , there are fears that the next four years under PDP will be a disaster.
Buhari,
who made the appeal at the meeting of APC leaders, elders and other
stakeholders from the north held at ASAA Pyramid Hotel, Kaduna on
Saturday.
He said any attempt to allow PDP in power beyond 2015 will spell doom for the country.
While
expressing anger over the level of insecurity and economic
backwardness, Buhari also said “Nigerians will face hell and disaster,
if PDP wins the 2015 elections.”
He therefore urged the electorate
to “Shine their eyes” and vote only a credible party, candidates and
leaders at state, local government, national and state assemblies
elections.
“If Nigerians can shun the deceit , religious, ethnic
and sectional sentiments, they should be rest assured that good leaders
will emerge,” Buhari stated.
He equally tasked aspirants vying for all elective positions to be selfless and committed to unity and progress of the country.
