NFF To Seek Open Market Supply As Adidas Cancels Sponsorship Deal

Strong indications have indicated that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may head for the open market to buy kits in order to meet demands of the entire national teams following the insufficient supply.

This is coming following the cancellation of the Adidas shirt sponsorship deal with Nigeria. The Germany-based kit manufacturer has drastically reduced its stock delivery to Nigeria since it announced in July that it would not extend its strategic kit supply contract with the Nigerian federation.

The current partnership with the national team, which has been a source of multi-million Naira revenue for the NFF will officially expire on December 31, 2014.
